A few months ago, we talked about how PrimoPDF can be used to attach PDFs to an email message upon conversion, but you may have noticed that this is not the only Post Process option available. With the Open PDF option selected, your file is converted and saved as usual, and then automatically opened using the PDF viewer of your choice.

To set the Open PDF option and PDF viewer to use:

1. From the PrimoPDF window, click the Options button. When opening PDF files use: select Custom Program. (Select Default PDF Viewer to use your computer's default PDF viewing software).
2. From the Open window, browse to the program you'd like PrimoPDF to use to open your PDF files, and then click Open. Click OK to close the Options window.
3. Select Open PDF from the Post Process menu. Set any other desired PDF options and then click Create PDF.
